Ingredients
- 200 g pasta (any type)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomato, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 100 g peas
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- to taste salt
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Method
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add the diced onion and sauté until golden brown. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and oil separates from the mixture.
- Stir in the green bell pepper, carrot, and peas. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to combine.
- Fold in the cooked pasta and toss everything together to ensure the pasta is well coated with the masala.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
