Bungeoppang

Ingredients
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 300 ml water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 200 g red bean paste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add water and mix until a smooth batter forms. Stir in the vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
- Preheat a fish-shaped waffle maker or bungeoppang pan over medium heat.
- Pour a small amount of batter into one side of the pan, filling it about halfway.
- Add a spoonful of red bean paste on top of the batter, then cover with more batter.
- Close the pan and cook for about 3-5 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Carefully remove the bungeoppang and repeat the process with the remaining batter and filling.
- Serve warm, and enjoy the crispy outside and sweet filling.
