Ingredients
- 200 g Chinese wheat noodles
- 100 g ground pork
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili oil
- 1 tsp Sichuan peppercorns, crushed
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 2 tbsp sesame paste
Method
- Cook the Chinese wheat noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat a little oil over medium heat and add the ground pork. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, stirring for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the soy sauce, chili oil, and crushed Sichuan peppercorns, cooking for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked noodles with the sesame paste until well coated.
- Serve the noodles topped with the cooked pork mixture, chopped scallions, and julienned cucumber for freshness.
- Drizzle extra chili oil on top if desired.
